Hammer forging

We work with 1000 – 13,000 tonne presses and are able to manufacture forged parts ranging from 150 kg – 160 t. The following are used:

  • Forging presses: Horizontal pressing up to 26,000 mm in length; vertical pressing up to 16,000 mm in height and max. diameter up to 2500 mm
  • False bottom furnaces
  • Cooling tanks (water and polymer tanks) up to 26,000 mm horizontal and/or 16,000 mm vertical
  • Spray quench tower
  • All heat treatment processes
  • Machining for turning, drilling and milling in accordance with the dimensions of the forgings

Ring / hot-rolling

AUTOMATED RING-ROLLING

Our available hot-rolling lines consist of an induction heating unit, a 2000 t heavy-duty hydraulic punch press and a fully automated ring-rolling machine. The transfer line comprises two robots, which bring the heated parts into the press, forge them in the press and place the blanks on a conveyor belt for further rolling. The dimension checks are completely CNC-controlled in order to achieve the desired level of repeatability and processing stability.

EXAMPLE PRODUCTS:

  • Rolled rings, flanges > 14“, crown gears, gear rings, rings for bearings
  • Further machining depending on intended use
  • Maximum weight: 75 kg, maximum outer diameter: 550 mm

Hot-forming of sheet metal

For custom shapes, tempering and compression moulding of sheet metal is required. As with hot-formed dished heads, we can also use moulds to produce custom parts using a pressing process in accordance with drawings.
